PEI (polyetherimide) is an amorphous, non-crystalline high-performance polymer, which has high strength, high rigidity, wear resistance and dimensional stability at high temperature. It has excellent mechanical strength, electrical insulation and radiation resistance. PEI has inherent flame retardancy and low smoke without adding any additives. Its Tg is 215 ℃, and can be used for a long time at 160~180 ℃. The maximum allowable intermittent service temperature is 200 ℃.
